Craven County Disaster Recovery Alliance (CCDRA) is working hard to compile a list of resources available for Craven County residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will update this list daily or as more resources and assistance becomes available and/or is brought to our attention. Please remember to practice social distancing and wash your hands. Contact information is at the bottom of this list if you are an organization that has assistance available and would like to be added.

2)  Tax Information:

3)  Rent Payment Assistance:

5)  Food Assistance:
• Craven County Schools is offering Free Meals on Big School Wheels. They will be delivering food at designated stops throughout Craven County for children. This is open to all children 18 yrs and younger. • Salvation Army: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10-11:45 am @ 1402 Rhem Ave New Bern, NC. Will need ID and a bag for food.
• Craven County Senior Services: Home Delivered Meals Program and Congregate Nutrition Program are still operational for people 60 years and older. Call 252-638-1790. No walk-ins.
• Craven County Department of Social Services—252-636-4900. See the following for details: https://www.ncdhhs.gov/assistance/low-income-services/food-nutrition-services-food-stamps (as of 3/26/2020, Disaster SNAP has not been put in place, however regular assistance is available for those who meet eligibility guidelines)

6)  Child Care for Essential Personnel:

7)  Internet Services:
• Suddenlink is providing free internet for 60 days for households in their service area that has a student from K-12 and/or college who does not already have internet service. Service can be continued after that for $14.99 per month with no annual contract. Call 1-888-633-0030 for information and to sign up.
• Spectrum is providing free internet for 60 days for households in their service area that has a student from K-12 and/or college who does not already have internet service. Installation fees will be waived for new student households. Call 1-844-653-6827 for information and to sign up.
