Safe from the Storm

A year ago, Craven County experienced the disaster known as Hurricane Florence. The physical, emotional and spiritual impact of such an event lingers well past the actual dates of that event. While Eastern North Carolina is indeed a strong community, we can all learn ways of healing ourselves from Florence and possible future events. As the anniversary of any significant loss in our lives can be emotionally taxing, the Emotional, Spiritual and Wellness Committee of the Craven County Disaster Recovery Alliance (CCDRA) is presenting this opportunity to learn about and experience various stress reduction techniques that are available in our own community. There will be programs available from 12 Noon to 5 PM at the Following Locations:
O.Mark’s Building – 233 Middle St.
Bank of the Arts – 317 Middle St.
Union Point Park
